Founded in 2023 by Alex Rempfer, Crane Creek Taxidermy is the result of a passion for hunting, passed down through generations of his family. With a deep appreciation for wildlife and the art of preservation, Alex created Crane Creek with the mission to bring lasting beauty to every piece. Drawing on decades of experience, Alex honed his craft under the mentorship of professional taxidermist Linda Brown, whose invaluable guidance and expertise shaped his skills. With Linda’s legacy, Alex continues to honor her teachings, preserving the beauty of nature through meticulous and lifelike taxidermy craftsmanship. Linda continues to provide help and tips to this day.

Alex spent the majority of his life in Las Vegas, but when he moved to Iowa, his family instilled in him a deep love for hunting. Through hunting, Alex discovered the profound beauty of nature and the art of preserving it. Driven by a desire to bring a modern touch to taxidermy, Alex envisioned offering custom mounts and plaques, alongside a strong social media presence, all while maintaining the timeless quality and craftsmanship of traditional taxidermy.
